Meet Executive Chef Steve Gibanov.
Chef Steve Gibanov comes to Oakmont of Roseville with an impressive culinary background. In 2002, he graduated from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. Since then, he has worked as the personal chef for a CEO of a large financial corporation, held the position of Executive Sous Chef at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel, and was the Executive Chef for the Peninsula Regent and San Francisco Towers. Steve has developed a refined cooking style focused on technique.
When asked what drew Chef Steve to a career in senior living, he said, “I chose this role for the chance to make a difference in our residents’ lives. We are lucky to live in an agriculturally rich area that allows me to use some of the best produce in the nation to prepare delicious meals. Oakmont places a high value on quality, which allows me to offer a fine dining experience for every resident.”
